Next, we visit a remarkable religious complex, often referred to as the “Slovak Vatican.” After enjoying a local lunch with traditional specialties, we explore a charming town square, surrounded by Renaissance and medieval buildings.
Later, we step inside a former woodcarver’s home, now a museum that displays exquisite craftsmanship, followed by a visit to a beautiful church with the world’s tallest wooden altar. A peaceful walk along the town’s preserved walls gives us a taste of its medieval roots.
A cable car ride takes us up the mountainside, where we’re treated to breathtaking waterfalls. We then enjoy a relaxing stroll around a glacial lake, framed by towering peaks, offering the perfect ending to a day full of history and stunning landscapes.
